Pegasus launches new flights to Bodrum
Posted on Monday, March 09 @ 07:56:53 CDT by editor

TOURISTS and residents heading to Didim will be able to fly to Bodrum with the launch of a new flight from London’s Stansted.

Turkey’s leading low-cost carrier, Pegasus Airlines, is launching once weekly flights direct to Bodrum on Mondays from May 4 2009, with one-way prices from £65.99 including taxes and charges.

Bodrum flights will depart Stansted 13.05, arriving at Bodrum at 19.00, and the return leg will depart Bodrum at 10.05, arriving Stansted at 12.10.

The company has also announced plans to launch a new daily flight from London (Stansted) – Istanbul (Sabiha Gökçen)/North Cyprus (Ercan) service from 1st April 2009, with prices from £39.99 including taxes and charges

The London (Stansted) – Istanbul (Sabiha Gökçen) / North Cyprus (Ercan) route presently operates on a five-weekly service but is being scaled up to meet demand.

Sertac Haybat, General Manager of Pegasus Airlines, said: "Europe and the UK in particular are important markets for us.

“We are also delighted to be adding a direct Bodrum flight to our UK service, making the journey cheaper and easier than ever before.”

Reading through this I again wonder why airlines think the only departure point for bodrum has to be one of the London airports?  Please can these companies recognise that there are many who own both north and south of London and their flights would sell like hot cakes.  I wish BA would ofer a service from Manchester.....I'd fly with them permanently.

yet again.....? another air line offering cheap flights to bodrum from the UK,  but it is alway's from a london located airport, we live in plymouth and both exeter and bristol are very expensive for the cost of flights,
please can one of the no frills, low cost airlines put on a weekly flight from the west country ( catchment area of cornwall, devon, somerset & wales ). must be viable.
