DIDIM Darts Tournament saw 32 of the best darters in town go head to head, but it was one man left standing after two days of hard fought battles.

Chris Bate was triumphant after edging out Tony Sapsford 4-3 to win the competition which was staged at Leon’s Bar, on the Marina Road.

Chris had to fight all the way to be crowned for a third successive time.

The venue was packed out for the tournament which saw six Turks and eight ladies among the entries.

On Sunday, Chris edged out Chaz Howell 3-2, while Tony ran out 3-1 winner over Leon. There were cash prizes for the final four.

Chaz and Tony, who organised the event, thanked everyone who took part, supported and hosted the event and for making it such a success.
