MEMBERS of Help in Hands group staged a fancy dress walk around Didim as part of their efforts to raise 27,000TL for a training centre project for the disabled.

As part of the Rehabilitation Centre plans in Didim, former Myaor Mumin Kamaci allocated 2,000sq m of land to create a park and sensory garden area for the disabled.

In the centre of the park will be a Training Centre and the cost to build it is 27,000TL. Help – In- Hands has pledged to raise this money with your help.

Residents can pledge 27TL towards buying a brick for the centre. If so, the charity says people can text PLEDGE 27 to 0539 9144 214. Everyone making a pledge will be entered into a draw to win a 42″ Flat Screen TV.
On Friday (April 25), members of the group were in fancy dress visiting local businesses to help raise cash towards the project.
