A breakaway group of five cyclists headed out towards the Soke as part of the sixth leg of the Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey on the outskirts of Didim today.
The sixth stage of the Tour Turkey, which was taking place between Bodrum and Selcuk, saw the group some five to six minutes ahead of the rest of the field.
Voices was able to grab some pictures of the cyclists at about 3pm as they passed crowds of curious onlookers on the Milas-Soke Highway shortly before the Soke Outlets.
In the fifth stage of the Tour of Turkey, Italian Elia Viviani had outsprinted Mark Cavendish to end his domination of the sprint stages.
Cannondale’s Viviani timed his run perfectly, beating the 28-year-old Briton by a bike length in Turgutreis.
Omega Pharma-Quick Step rider Cavendish had won three of the opening four stages.
Britain’s Adam Yates consolidated second place in the general classification after the 183km stage.
