TWO well-established companies in Didim that have served the foreign sector for nearly a decade have announced they are to merge operations.

Lets Group and Solution Services, serving a combined database of more than 1,500 customers, have unveiled plans to work closer together, enable customers to benefit from their broad range of skills and professionalism, while continuing to provide excellent services.

Lets, established in 2006 and co-owned by Jean and Chris Button, has become one of the leading property and rental management companies in Didim and Akbuk.

Solution Services is a well-established insurance, property service and translation provider, run by well-known and multi-lingual couple Ayhan and Hülya Kara.

Both couples confirmed that talks between them had been ongoing since January, with a shared vision to provide a one-stop service that enhances the customer experience, whether that be an expat or a second-home owner .

The Buttons, who live near Milton Keynes, are  renowned for their passion in giving a professional and transparent service to their mainly property and rental base of customers, while the Karas pool their European and Turkish knowledge to provide an all-round service.

The new set-up will generally leave the two operations largely untouched, with Solution Services still providing services from the base around the corner from HSBC. Lets have recently relocated to an office in the HSBC building and will maintain their Akbuk operation as well.

Apart from the services they provide, Hulya speaks five languages: English, Turkish, Dutch, French and German, while Ayhan provides extensive translation services and is well-connected within Didim circles. One of the benefits of the merger will be free verbal translation services for the companies’ new and old customers.

Hulya said: “We all bring our European experiences to Didim and provide enhanced services and skills based on those principles. We quickly established that we are striving for the same goals, achieving the same ethos and delivering the best for the customer.”

Jean added: “It is an exciting step for both companies in pooling their experiences, strategies and shared outlooks for the benefit of the customer. There is strength in depth in the staff and we are all passionate and 100 per cent committed in delivering efficient and effective services.

“We do things from the heart and customers always come first.”

Ayhan said: “We wanted to move forward with the best in the sector and we believe we are doing that. Together, we can provide integrated services for a greater number of customers, while not losing the focus on delivering the best for them.”

The lynchpin will be Hami Kablan, who will liaise across both operations to ensure a smooth delivery of the services provided.

The new company, once all legalities have been finalised this month, will be known as Lets-Solution Services (LSS).
