PLANS for a Tesco Kipa and shopping forum are slowly taking shape on the edge of Didim, it has emerged.

Despite rumours of their interest in particular sites in the town in recent years, the actual plan for a big Tesco Kipa base – not the small one close to the Didim Hospital – have been mostly bar talk.

However, it has been revealed that a key development off the Didim to Akbuk Highway, close to the petrol station as you leave Didim, is one that will be anchored by a Tesco Kipa store.

And that confirmation was made plain by the Tesco Kipa sign that popped up to advertise the fact.

Voices has been talking to Tesco’s communication chiefs and is hopeful of bringing more details, plans and an opening date within the next couple of weeks.

The nearest big Kipa stores are either at Novada outlet, close to Soke, or on the way into Kusadasi.
