ONE of the new bins installed in Didim has gobbled up an unfortunate young man.
The man, who was finishing up clearing the waste at a barber’s shop in town, somehow deposited the rubbish and himself into one of the new bins which have underground storage for the trash.
His cries for help in the stinking pit were heard, and after the council was informed, a work’s crew attended and unlocked the back of the bin and dragged him out.
He escaped with a few grazes and bruises, and no doubt his pride was a bit battered.
In other news, Didim council has reiterated its stance on fining people that just dump rubbish at the side of the new bins rather than in them.
