DIDIM State Hospital is set to open a new four-bed state-of-the-art intensive care unit following a 600,000TL injection.
Ongoing construction of the emergency services building is close to finishing and hospital bosses have slated its opening for June 15.

Hospital manager Dr Fatma Aydogan said the 550 sqm facility was the first step towards providing greater ICU facilities for the general public.
She said a team of doctors and nurses had been appointed to the unit.
In a separate development, the hospital is now operating a bone measurement density unit thanks to members of the Charity Association of Turkey (TYSD).
The opening of the new machine was overseen by Didim Governor Ersin Emiroglu, with his wife, Zeynep.
Dr Aydogan said the new unit would mean patients, particularly those with osteoporosis, will not now have to travel to local towns for the service.
