WORK will be done this winter at Mavisehir Market, Didim Council has announced.

Didim deputy mayor Hatice Gencay said a number of issues such as empty shop lots would be refurbished, while the matter of traders’ leases would also be addressed in time for the opening of 2015 season.

She reassured that preliminary works would begin next month with a view to completion by the end of March.

Further information about the works and landscaping of the site will be in the coming weeks.

Mavisehir market remains a firm summer favourite for tourists, expats and second-home owners.
