A BALAT villager and his wife had a wonderful surprise delivered to their home, thanks to members of Help-in-Hands members.
The group delivered an electrically-operated orthopaedic bed they had bought to the house of Hasan Karayuluk, aged 49, who had to have both legs amputated last year as a result of diabetes.
The bed will give him more independence and will ease the strain on his wife’s back!
While there, Help-in-Hands noticed that his wheelchair was in a poor condition and have arranged with the Didim Disabled Association to have a replacement chair delivered next Tuesday.
