A PUSH for greater links between Kos, Leros and Didim are underway.

Consul General of Greece Theodore Isakiris, based in Izmir, visited Didim Mayor Deniz Atabay recently where the hopes and plans of a ferry between all three destinations were floated.

Mr Atabay said it was his hopes that a ferry link could be established for the new tourism season, so offering a new outlet for travelers staying in the Aegean.

The mayor is scheduled to visit Rhodes in March as part of a continued warming of ties between the Greek islands and Didim’s tourism officials.
