VOICES has been informed of another death of a Didim expat.

Mr George Smith, who lived in Altinkum for many years, died on Monday (Feb 23).

Our thoughts and condolences to his wife Maureen at this sad time. He had been in intensive care for 10 weeks in Aydin hospital.

The funeral is on Saturday February 28, with a general meeting point for mourners at Didim hospital car park at 12 noon

George was featured in the Voices last year when he became the first foreign patient of the then newly opened dialysis unit at Didim State Hospital.
