FREE Turkish lessons for foreigners at the Halk Eğitimi Merkezi are planned to start at the end of May

The Government Education Centre is located on a road off Ataturk Boulevard and down the side of the HSBC Bank on the corner.  It is a single storey brick building next to a tea garden.

Classes are usually two nights a week from 6pm to 9pm and continue for about 3 months.

Times and dates of next classes have not been finalized as yet but those interested can put their names down by taking a photocopy of their residence permit, contact tel no and TC number. This number is the one from the Nüfus office that usually starts with 99 (NOT tax no).
