SIESTA BOAT – the popular boat tripper for expats and tourists – set sail for its first voyage of the tourism season this week.

Yvonne Hogg, from Sterling, in Scotland, celebrated her 54th birthday aboard with her husband Bryan. 

The couple, who have been married for 28 years, have a holiday apartment in Royal Marina, and Bryan decided to surprise his wife by booking a holiday without telling her to coincide with her May 4 birthday. 

Yvonne said: “It was the best birthday I have ever had,” while praising Siesta boat for the good food, great company and wonderful and obliging crew. 

Another very grateful customer lost his hat at sea, so after a quick SOS to Muzo the ice cream man, the hat was picked up safely by Muzo on his speed boat.
