MORE than 40 family and friends gathered at the cemetery in Akbuk to pay their respects and say their farewells to Ken Jones (1943-2015), who recently passed away whilst on a trip to Northern Cyprus.

Ken had fought a long battle with cancer, though recently it appeared his health had improved. Sadly this proved to be unfounded.

Forever the Welshman, Ken’s casket was draped in his national flag as he was given a very dignified send-off which reflected the dignity of the man.
