A DIDIM student has been plucked from obscurity to be one of the finalists of the Elite Miss Turkey 2015.
Çağla Gülşah Kabaca, a 21-year-old, will be among 22 finalists bidding for the top title on June 11.
She is currently a 3rd year English student at Pamukkale University and is the daughter of Kurtul Tibet Durakoğlu, a representative of the Aydin Public Accountants and Financial Advisors Chamber and Yeşim Durakoğlu, a worker at the Special Education and Rehabilitation Center.
She was chosen from among 1,000 entries at a shot at the 2015 Most Beautiful Girl title. The winner will represent Turkey at international competitions.
The Elite Miss Turkey contest will crown the winner as the World Beauty Competition holder, the second as Miss Universe, the third Miss Earth and the fourth Miss International Beauty.
