A NEW help desk has been opened by Didim Council to assess issues and concerns raised by local residents.

The desk, which is located on the ground floor of the Belediye, is manned by two council workers and was launched at the insistence of Mayor Deniz Atabay.

A new phone number has also been set up for residents to pass on their remarks or alert the council to ongoing neighbourhood issues. The new unit’s number is 444 81 09

Deputy Mayor and the City Council member Saleh Bankoğlu said the desk was aimed at channeling people’s concerns quickly to the necessary departments and for a more rapid response.

The helpdesk has been fully endorsed by Didim Governor, Mr İskender Yönden.
