HOLIDAYMAKERS will be able to gorge on a feast of folk dancing with the launch of the 2nd international dance festival in Didim this coming week.

The Dahot festival, which begin Friday, will draw in folk dance teams from Georgia, Serbia, Northern Cyprus, as well as teams from Romania and Macedonia, and locally from Nazilli and Ankara.

The festival will run from August 28 to Sept 1.

DAHOT – the Didim Folk Dance Youth and Sports Club Association – is organizing the dance festival, which will include, for the visitors, demonstrations, an August 30 Victory Day trip and cultural events.

The program – which can be subject to change – is as follows:
