TWO Yesiltepe residents Lisa Green and Vicky Woods (pictured) had their heads shaved as part of a challenge launched by Macmillan Cancer Support

Lisa and Vicky decided to take up the challenge to have their locks shorn during a fundraiser as part of a ladies swim and luncheon by the Glitz and Glamour women’s group.

The Brave the Shave challenge was held at Sweet Horses on Friday afternoon (Aug 21).

By braving the shave and raising money, the proceeds will go to Macmillan to support people with cancer and their families.

Macmillan said the challenge in the UK and elsewhere is expected to raise about £1.5 m.
