DIDIM State Hospital has started a Palliative Care Centre on site.

Didim State Hospital Chief Dr. Fatma Aydogan said: “Our main goal in diseases that require palliative care support is to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.”.

The centre has been established on the 3rd floor of the building.

It will aim to provide nutritional support, ensuring ease of breathing, the patient and presenting psychological and social support to the relatives of the patient’s comfort and care.

Meanwhile the hospital has recruited an Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist, Dr. Banu Temiz.
