FREE Turkish lessons are being offered at Halk Eğitim Merkezi, down the side of HSBC Bank, in Didim.

Teacher Mustafa, from Halk Eğitim Merkezi, has informed us that a new course of free Turkish lessons for foreigners will be starting mid-February.

The lessons will be Level 1 for beginners and people with some knowledge of Turkish, Level 2, which is for students who have already completed Level 1.

Anyone wishing to put their names down can do so by taking a photocopy of their residence permit, TC number, the one from the Nüfus office that usually starts with 99 (not tax no) and contact tel number so Mustafa  can ring as they need 20 people to open the course.

These can be handed into the secretary between 9am-5pm, weekdays.
