ONE of the commoner sights around Altinkum this season – as it has been for the past couple of years – will be the horse and carriage tours.

This particular house and carriage is operated by coachman Mustafa Kalyancı who said he was looking forward to the start of the new season.

He added that his two horses, the one pictured is called Lilly, eat between six and eight kilogrammes of straw a day.

“I raised Lilly as a small foal with my own hands and I am just continuing a profession that was done by my father. I am just trying to make a living and I love the job,” he added.

The cost of a carriage ride this season will be 25TL.
