DIDIM dentist Sevil Pekmezci has spoken of her delight at scooping two international award categories.

Sevil, whose studio is based on Ataturk Boulevard, Altinkum, was named among five winners of the Best Dentist 2018 category. The other winners were from the UK, India and Italy.

Her Sevil Smile Studio – now in its 10th year – was also handed an international award for the best dental practice and hospital network.

The awards were organised by the International Award of Excellence in Dentistry for those dental professionals/organisations with proven state of excellence in dentistry and recognizing individuals/organisations for their outstanding achievements and dedication towards the field of dentistry.

Sevil said: “I am really pleased to have received these two awards from an international industry body. I am deeply honoured, but this is also about the quality and service my staff give to our patients.”

The International Award of Excellence is the one and only International award recognising international dentists from around the globe who proved and provided Excellent Leadership and maintained High Professional Standards in Dentistry. In 2017, Sevil also received a Best Dentist award.

Plans are underway for a party to celebrate the awards and her 10th year in business later this month. The event is expected to be held at the Didim Marina Yacht Club.
