Municipal divers have cleared 235kg of waste from waters around Kumbahçe pier, in the centre of Bodrum.

The work was carried out by the diving team of Bodrum Municipality under the Sea Legs Cleaning Works.

Bodrum Municipality Dive Team gathered the waste from the bottom of the sea during a two-hour operation.

The waste included 24.5 kg of rubber, 64 kg of glass, 16 kg of plastic, 82 kg of metal, 41 kg of textile and 7.75 kg of electronic waste.
