A dog, attacked by other stray animals and seriously injured in its face, has undergone major surgery and recovery – and is now looking for a new home.
The dog, named Maylo, has recovered at the Didim Municipality Stray Animal Treatment and Temporary Care Center. It underwent stem cell treatment and major skin grafts.

The 2-year-old male dog who was seriously injured after being attacked by other stray animals and was brought to the Center by citizens.
The dog, who had a high amount of tissue loss on his face and was in danger of losing one eye, was operated on in the Patili Dostlar Operating Room within the shelter. The dog, who was treated with stem cells and underwent skin grafts, regained his health after a difficult process.
The dog was given the name ‘Maylo’ after he was neutered and received other vaccines. It is now looking for a new home like scores of others at the center.
