Bringing the spirit of the seasons to home decoration is a method that makes you feel in harmony with the time. In addition, making small changes in home decoration according to the season will also allow you to have fun. I think the most romantic seasonal decoration, with cinnamon scents and lots of candles, belongs to autumn.

Let’s bring the spirit of autumn into our homes with a few small changes.

Make room for autumn colors: You can include more colours such as orange, yellow, brown and red in your home, which are suitable for the autumn weather. Of course, it is not easy to completely renew the colours of a house. There is no need for this, but it will be enough to use such colours in small items and accessories.

Hello blankets and cushions: Throwing quilts, blankets and cushions on the sofa will easily change the atmosphere of your living room. You can also use autumn colours on blankets and cushions. Similarly, it is possible to create an autumn atmosphere in your bedroom with appropriate blankets and new pillow covers.

Using candles and lampshades: Candles have a very important place in the autumn theme. You can change the atmosphere at home with cinnamon or apple-scented candles that remind you of autumn scents. You can also stick cinnamon sticks around your candles with a small DIY project and decorate them with a thin wicker rope.

Similarly, painting white candles will be a fun DIY project and will complete your autumn decoration. Small lampshades, especially when you use yellow lights, will help you create a romantic and calm atmosphere in the evenings.

Evaluate pine cones and dry branches: I have a simple autumn tradition that I do every autumn: I return from nature walks with cones and dry branches that I like in shape. Sometimes I put them together on the table, sometimes in a small wicker basket. Although I like their natural appearance, you can colour your pine cones and use them however you wish.

Balcony and exterior door decorations: Simple decorations on your balcony or terrace and outside door will help you capture the autumn mood. Pumpkin, dried leaves and pinecone-themed decorations will be especially useful.
