ADÜ Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Şerife Güçlü’s supervised thesis has earned a prestigious ıncentive award.

Recent scientific studies at Aydın Adnan Menderes University (ADÜ) continue to draw attention, with a noteworthy accomplishment in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (İTBF).

Under the guidance of Prof. Dr Şerife Güçlü, a thesis titled ‘Deindustrialization and Reproduction of Space: Zonguldak-Kavaklık,’ authored by Dr Funda Sönmez Öğütle from the Sociology Department, been honoured with the 2022 ‘İlhan Tekeli Doctoral Incentive Award’ by the İlhan Tekeli Urbanization Culture Foundation.
