Police in Bodrum have launched a double murder inquiry of a Russian model and her daughter found executed and wrapped in sheets.
It was determined the bodies, found among rocks and bushes on a hillside in Bodrum, belonged to Russian national Irina Dvizova (42) and her daughter Dayana (15). It was understood they were shot and killed.
The bodies, found by police teams in the forest around the shipyard area of İçmeler Mevkii in Bodrum, were taken to Muğla Forensic Medicine Institute for autopsy. The mother and daughter had been reported missing a while ago.
Police are now seeking information on the whereabouts of Ms Dvizova’s ex-husband, Lithuanian A.K. (46), who is understood to be abroad with their 5-year-old son M.K.
Local media said a search operation had been launched upon the notice of relatives who had not heard from the mother and daughter since November 23 and reported seeing traces of blood in a luxury villa in Konacık District believed to be where the victims were staying.
Media said that Ms Dvizova had previously promoted luxury brands in Istanbul, Bodrum and Cappadocia in Turkey. She recently sold her first luxury villa in Bodrum, where she has been a real estate and a real estate consultant for Russian billionaires.
It was further reported that Irina Dvizova and A.K. had a disagreement about their children and last year, two investigations were carried out on the issue by the Bodrum Bureau of Combating Domestic Violence and Against Women. It was learned a restraining order was imposed on him.
Upon the woman’s application this year, the Family Court ruled against A.K. It was noted that a decision was made to impose a one-month restraining order against him in 6 separate cases, but since he was not in the country, it was not possible to notify him.
