While traffic inspections have been tightened just a few days before the New Year, 251 drivers were found to have violated the rules throughout Aydın in the last 24 hours and were duly fined. Six vehicles were also banned from the roads.

Aydın Provincial Police Department Traffic Inspection Branch Directorate and Regional Traffic Inspection Branch Directorate teams increased their traffic inspections before the end of 2023.

Within the scope of the inspections carried out throughout the province, 1,991 vehicles were stopped in the last 24 hours.

During the interrogations, administrative fines were imposed on a total of 251 drivers, including 15 for driving without a license, 1 for changing lanes incorrectly, 25 traffic light violations, 6 for drunk driving, 13 for using a mobile phone, 14 for not wearing a helmet, and 202 for other matters.

Inspections will continue throughout the province.
