A group of foreign tourists in Antalya’s Alanya district had fun surfing.
According to officials of the Meteorological Station Directorate, the wavelength of the waves reached 2 metres in the district where the highest air temperature was measured at 17 degrees and the sea water temperature was measured at 18 degrees.
Taking advantage of the wavy sea in Alanya, a group of foreign nationals enjoyed surfing at Keykubat Beach.
German national Per Karstens, one of the surfers, told reporters that they came to Alanya because the weather was nice.
Explaining that the waves are suitable for surfing, Karstens said, “Surfing among the waves in this landscape is indescribable. I love this feeling very much.” he said.
