Ferry services from Didim to the Greek islands of Kos and Leros have restarted this season, launched by Yeşil Marmaris
The Didim-Kos voyage traveled with 50 people on the first day. The services were restarted after a five-year break.
The first ferry left from the district’s D-Marin port. At 08:30, passengers completed their procedures at the customs building in the Marina.
Company representative Serhat Eraslan said: “After 5 years, we started flights from Didim. You will travel by catamaran. We will travel from Didim to Kos island every Friday and Saturday.
“The catamaran departs from Didim at 09:30 and arrives in Kos at 10:45. The catamaran departs from Kos at 17:30 and will arrive in Didim at 18:45.
“Apart from this, we will have one-way flights from Didim to Leros Island every Sunday. Departing from Didim at 11:00 and arriving at Leros at 11:40. We will have a one-way trip from Leros to Didim every Thursday.
“We set departure from Leros at 15:30 and arrival at 16:10. A one-way fee is 45 Euros from Leros, 60 Euros for a return trip to Kos on the same day, and 100 Euros for a round trip to Kos island on different days. The visa fee was determined as 65 Euros.”
