The Didim Lavender Festival, organized by Didim Municipality for the 4th time this year, was a scene of colorful scenes.

Thousands of citizens who attended the festival witnessed the fragrant Lavender Festival held in the eye-catching lavender fields.

The festival was a magnificent visual feast to local and foreign citizens. The festival, held at the Akköy Medicinal Aromatic Plants and Ornamental Plants Production Nursery belonging to Didim Municipality, hosted approximately 33,000 people from all over the country, especially Didim, for two days.

Didim Mayor Hatice Gençay, CHP Didim District Chairman Aşkın Atlı, Municipality Council Members, representatives of public institutions and organizations and citizens attended the 2nd day of the festival held in the fragrant, purple lavender fields.

During the day, stage shows and talks were held at the festival, and many photos were taken in the magical atmosphere of the lavender gardens, which offered a visual feast to the participants.

At the end of the festival, Didim Mayor Hatice Gençay thanked those who contributed to the festival and presented them with flowers and statues.

The citizens showed great interest in the concerts held on the last day and had a great time with the songs sung by Yağmur Akoğlu and Grup Peekay. At the end of the concert, Didim Mayor Hatice Gençay presented the artists with lavender bouquets.
