Around the Aydin region, there are many places where you can see historical ruins and enjoy natural beauty. We will share these places which you can visit and spice up your holiday. The Explore series looks at Deliçay Valley in Aydın.

Deliçay Valley, where 30 large and small waterfalls and a historical bridge considered to be about 2,000 years old, are located in the Bozdoğan district of Aydın, awaits the attention of nature lovers. Bozdoğan is about 2.5 hours from the Didim region.

Deliçay Valley in Alhisar Neighborhood, which is about 15 kilometers away from Bozdoğan town centre, draws attention with its magnificent structure and waterfalls.

There are 30 large and small waterfalls in the region, which can be reached by passing through narrow and path roads. The indented rocks along the valley, along with the flowing water, offer a unique view to its guests.

In the middle of the valley, there is a historical bridge that is estimated to be about 2,000 years old.

The Provincial Culture and Tourism Ministry said that the region has just begun to be discovered and that they will work to bring this place to tourism.

Emphasizing that the succession of the waterfalls creates a long cruising track, the ministry said that the most beautiful of these is Alhisar Waterfall. The integration of the waterfalls with the historical Kemer Bridge is actually a unique value.

While this place depicts a perfect natural landscape, nature lovers and tourists interested in trekking sports are increasingly attracted to visiting this place.

One of the many visitors, Muzaffer Çetinkaya, stated that he came to the region many times and said, “You encounter a waterfall at almost every step here. Every waterfall we see has a different beauty and scenery. It was so much fun to be in.”
