The sea bus services between Didim-Turgutreis-Bodrum, which started with the cooperation of Aydın Metropolitan Municipality and Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, continue to attract great interest from citizens.

The project began with the aim of strengthening the tourism ties and increasing the mobility of Aydın and Muğla provinces tourism centres. It also offers fast and comfortable transportation to local and foreign tourists.

Expressing that she travelled by sea bus for the first time, Elif Arslan said: ‘We came to visit my sister in Kuşadası, we wanted to see Bodrum while we were there. The sea bus both saved us from the traffic ordeal and was a different experience.

“The staff was very friendly, they helped us to park the car while buying tickets, they told us that there was a free car park. This is also an important point because the question of where to park the car was also important for me. I think this is also an important advantage.’

Oğuz Alan, who pointed out that sea bus services also reduce environmental pollution, said, ‘It is a very good application, I congratulate our municipality. In terms of transport, its shortness is good, comfort is good and it is also important in terms of cost.”
