The preparation meeting for the “World Loves Didim Culture Festival”, which will be held for the third time this year on September 6-7, was held in the meeting hall of the Didim Chamber of Commerce.

The meeting was chaired by Didim District Governorship, as the coordinator, while representatives from ADÜ Didim Vocational School, Didim Municipality, Didim Chamber of Commerce, Didim Chamber of Drivers, Didim Chamber of Tradesmen and Craftsmen, Didim Chamber of Agriculture, Didim Tourism Association and Didim Tourism Infrastructure Service Union as stakeholders also attended.

The meeting was attended by Didim City Council President Osman Ayyıldız and representatives of the countries that will participate in the festival.

City Council President Ayyıldız said, “We are together for the 3rd World Loves Didim Culture Festival that we will organize together with you this year. While the number of countries living in Didim was 65 two years ago, this year the number of countries has reached 78.

“The message of unity, solidarity and peace that we will give to the world from Didim is very important in this sense. The number of countries that want to open a stand at our festival this year seems to be approximately the same as last year, but we think this number will increase in the coming days according to the developments in our meetings.

“Today, we will meet with the representatives of the new countries that have joined us and create our festival program together.”

Information about the festival was given to the new country representatives attending the meeting. Suggestions about the festival were received from the country representatives.

It was decided that the next meeting would be held on August 28 and the festival program would be announced.
