The summer and glorious weather went on so long this year it’s easy to forget we’re quickly coming up to Christmas and Santa eating all our mince pies. Once again, Didim will have a Christmas Fayre at Didim Yacht Club. It will take place on Saturday, December 7th starting at 11.45 am.

This year sees the event become bigger than ever. There’s even a visit by Santa Claus. There will be plenty of stalls selling everything from cakes to local crafts, with plenty of ideas for those little presents under the tree. There will be a raffle, a tombola and plenty of activities to keep the children and adults entertained.

All funds raised go to worthy causes. In 2021 funds were donated to LOSEV and DIHAD, in 2023 to LOSEV, and in 2023 13 large food parcels were donated to the Kayma Kam’s office to go to people less well off than most.

This year, all funds will be used to purchase items for the elderly in Didim, especially those in Didim’s old people’s home.
