Coastal Chic

The Coastal Chic interior style is a decoration style that reflects the light and relaxing aspects of beach life indoors. Therefore, it is quite suitable for coastal cities such as Didim. It offers a cool, spacious and natural aesthetic. Main features of Coastal Chic interior style are:

Colour palette: Natural colours of the coastal areas are used. For this reason, neutral colours such as blue tones, white, beige and soft grey dominate. In addition, sand colour, sea foam and pastel tones are frequently used in this style.

Natural light and appearance: Interiors are arranged to receive plenty of natural light. Large windows, open spaces and light curtains support the spacious and bright appearance of the interior. If you do not have a home with large windows and natural light, use corner lights in non-aggressive colours. You can use white and its tones predominantly on your furniture and walls and blue and its tones in smaller objects and pillows.

Natural materials: Natural wood, straw, bamboo and seashell are the basic building blocks of the Coastal Chic style. Wooden floors, furniture and accessories add warmth and a natural feel.

Marine-themed accessories: Marine-related accessories and decorative items are often used. The decoration is completed with details such as seashells, starfish, sailor knots, and pictures of seascapes.

Comfortable furniture: Comfort is at the forefront. Comfortable seats, cushions and soft upholstered furniture are preferred.

Soft textures: Soft textures such as cotton and linen are preferred. These textiles add softness and natural elegance to interiors.

The Coastal Chic interior style provides a calm and peaceful atmosphere. While this style is ideal for beach houses, summer and holiday areas, it is also preferred in living spaces by bringing the peace of the sea and nature into homes.

Lighting: The spaces are made brighter with the use of light curtains. Modern lighting fixtures with simple designs are also frequently used.

Pastel tones: Neutral colours and pastel tones are frequently used. Soft colours like pink and green add a nice touch to spaces. Dark blue, grey and white are used as stabilizers.
