Ayşenur’s name to live on in Didim

Didim Belediye has confirmed that the name of Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi, who was killed by an Israeli sniper, will be kept alive in the town where she is buried.

Ayşenur was murdered in the West Bank on September 6 when she went to support the Palestinian people.

Didim Municipality took a meaningful step in the second session of the October council meeting. It was unanimously accepted that a park in the Cumhuriyet neighborhood be named after Ayşenur.

Ayşenur, a 26-year-old volunteer with the anti-occupation International Solidarity Movement, died in hospital after being shot in the head during the protest in Beita, near Nablus,
