THE 27-YEAR-OLD owner of an Internet shop has been severely wounded after he was shot twice in an apparent argument.

Hasan Ünlü was shot to the body at 8.45pm last night (Tues Oct 6) after a car pulled up outside his shop in Kafadarlar Caddesi, Efeler Quarter, and a suspect opened fire with a gun.

Earlier in the evening the victim was said to have become embroiled in a row with a child at the shop.

The child left the shop and later a car arrived and after an argument, Ünlü was shot.

The victim was taken to Didim State Hospital but later transferred to Aydin State Hospital for treatment to serious injuries,

Police have arrested a suspect and are investigating whether the two incidents are connected. They are also checking CCTV in the area for footage of the incident.
