ONE of the most famous bar owners in Didim is opening a new ‘rock music’ bar on Altinkum seafront.

Murat ‘Chico’ Basım, of Taxim Bar, will be opening the new bar at the former Ali Bar, the venue owned

by Didim Mayor Deniz Atabay.

Chico said he wanted to provide a new venue for rock and alternative rock music.

It will be opened in December, and there are plans for live music and groups for May and June next year.

He extended a welcome to expats, new and old customers to the new bar which is undergoing a refit prior to its opening.
