Didim Tourism Association of Infrastructure Services (DITAB) has appointed Sevinç Karataş

Ms Karataş was voted to become the new president of DITAB and replace Salih BANKOĞLU who had been at the helm since its inception in 2009.

The extraordinary meeting of the union, which is an umbrella organisation to help promote Didim in the tourism market, was also attended by Didim Mayor Deniz Atabay.

Mr Bankoğlu speaking ahead of the meeting said DITAB had attempted to promote the town through a number of tourism fairs, both domestically and internationally over the years.

The agenda went on discuss a number of technical issues in relation to DITAB as an organization.
