A great day was had by all at the Help-in-Hands Easter Sunday Funday which was held at the Toy Bar on Main Beach.

Lots of British and Turkish children (and adults), joined in the traditional activities of an Easter Egg Hunt on the beach, the Easter Bonnet Parade, Egg ‘n’ Spoon races, 3-legged races and Welly-wanging, plus the first ever ‘Didim Chucky Egg Challenge’ !

Eleven teams took part including the Glee Club and Carol’s Wine Bar , with the eventual winners being Caspers with a tremendous 21 ‘chucks’.

There was also stone-painting and Tombola, plus a fabulous knitted doll to be won if you guessed his name correctly.

The sun shone down on all the efforts and lots of money was raised for Help-in-Hands projects, and H-i-H would like to give many thanks to everybody for their continued support.
