POLICE are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred in a car park close to Didim’s town centre.

Local press reports suggest Mehmet Akman, 24, was stabbed to death when an argument quickly escalated.

The incident occurred in a car park off Cumhuriyet Caddesi at about 11.30pm last night (Sun).

The victim is said to have been stabbed in the stomach and the heart, and emergency services were unable to save him.

Police are now examining CCTV in the area and are understood to be seeking a suspect they want to question over the incident
