THE main road serving the Yesilkent community has been reduced to a dirt road while Aydem electric carry out necessary works.

It is understood that a multi-agency effort is underway, with Aydem dropping the electric below ground, while the local council is taking advantage to renew the surfacing of the road.

However, as the tourist progresses on into May, local residents have expressed concerns about the state of the road.

Local business have also expressed frustration of the dust cloud being kicked up and all are calling for the progress to be swifter.

Side roads around the new Aurum Moon Hotel have also been improved and will be block-paved.
