A TODDLER from Kusadasi has died after a four-day fight for life following an accident on Mother’s Day in Didim.

Su Peri Kurşun, aged one-and-a-half years, the only child of Kusadasi furniture business Murat and his wife Yelda, suffered serious injuries when she was involved in an accident involving a pickup truck on Sunday May 8 in Didim.

Despite a four-day fight for life, she passed away on Thursday. Some of her organs were used for transplants for other people.

Her parents paid tribute to their daughter in a moving statement on social media. They said: “She has lost her fight for life, but her organ donation will give the gift of life to others.”
