KIT Bate, who lives in Yesiltepe, has just celebrated her 74th birthday aboard Siesta – for the 6th year running.

Kit, who came aboard with husband Chris (famous in these parts for his darts skills), and 31 other friends, brought with her three tray fulls of homemade cupcakes for everyone. Absolutely delicious! Siesta also provided a large cake for her.

Another friend of Kit’s, Bob Fuller, had to cancel his 75th birthday celebration aboard Siesta last week, because of bad weather. So Siesta also provided a large chocolate cake for Bob, and the Happy Birthday groovy song was played for both of them.

Siesta cruised to the beautiful bay of Dalianaki, where lunch was served, and time for another dip in the sea there. The party continued just after lunch when some passengers and crew participated in the Macarana in the Isles downstairs.

Siesta has been completely refurbished this season, and now provides 17 sun beds in the shade for warmer weather.

The boat is out most days now, and sun beds of your choice are bookable in advance via Siesta Boat Altinkum facebook page, or just come along to the boat any evening.
