DIDIM has a new police chief.

Gürhan Aytekin, who has previously served in Nazilli and Aydin Central, was appointed to the post which has been vacant for two months.

He arrives from his last police post in Bayburt, a city in northwestern Turkey.

The married father-of-two said: “We will continue to serve citizens for their peace and security.”
