A STATUE of the Goddess Medusa will take her ‘throne’ on Altinkum Seafront in April, it has been revealed.

The sculpture, which will be located opposite Popeye’s and close to Dolphin Square, is the work of Olgaç Demirkol.

The statue, which will be gilded with gold and be white in colour, took four months to construct.

A new place has been identified for the sculpture as it was supposed to be put before the Altinkum junction or Akbük entrance.
