IF you are a holidaymaker or second home owner and face paying water bills in Didim when you come over, then you need to be aware of a minor change.

Water and sewage now comes under the Aydin Province Municipality NOT Didim Council. That means you CANNOT pay your water bills at the Didim Belediye building in Yenihisar.

Instead, water bills have to be paid at the Aydin water department in Kockar Caddesi, which is located around the corner from Halkbank, off Ataturk Boulevard.

Alternatively save yourself the trip and get a new electronic water card with a pre-pay card and top it up from a number of points around the town.

However, you still have to pay your council tax at the Didim Belediye building.
