Gaye 1, which is very pleasant for sunbathing and swimming with its clean sea water and sandy beach, is a beach that can be reached by passing through the green in Yeşilkent. You can rent umbrellas and sun loungers from a friendly team and enjoy the sun.

There is a restaurant on the beach where you can find British cuisine and Turkish dishes. You can also buy Turkish ‘gözleme’ from a small, family-run shop. Bagels and corn sellers are also mobile on the beach.

Jan Matthew, one of the tourists who prefer to swim here, said that “we actually live in Mavişehir, but we usually come here because I want my guests to go to the sea in a calm and clean place”.

There are also municipal toilets and dressing cabins on the beach where there is a lifeguard.
